Manager of Outpatient Clinic; Physical Therapist
Richard Graduated in 2017 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Missouri State University. Following graduation, he and his family returned to the Mountain West and settled in Pocatello. Since 2017 he has specialized in working with patients on mechanical injuries to the shoulders, knees, and hips, with a focus on the sports-related mechanics of squatting, jumping, and throwing. Richard has received post graduate specialized training in advanced rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee from the renowned professional sports physical therapist Kevin Wilk. Richard’s love of athletics, human movement, and exercise prevention drive him to educate patients on proper training techniques to help them develop confidence and independence in a healthy and active lifestyle. Richard is an athlete himself and when he isn’t at work, he enjoys trail running, hiking and kayaking with his family, and anything in the snow. If you get a chance, ask him to sing you a tune; he has a pretty good set of pipes on him!
Physical Therapist
Seth is an Idaho native, born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. He attended the College of Idaho for his bachelor’s degree of Health Science which he graduated summa cum laude in 2016. Seth also played Baseball at the College of Idaho during his 4 years there, ranking in the top 10 All-Time in stolen bases. Seth went on to pursue his dream of helping others achieve their own success and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in 2020. Seth attributes his inspiration to be a physical therapist from his love of sports and time spent focusing on his own personal health. During his didactic and clinical experience Seth developed a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. His special interest included working with overhead athletes, vestibular impairments, and helping the weekend warriors return to their recreational activities. When Seth is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His personal interest include: hiking with his dog, watching any type of sporting event, golfing, traveling, fishing, hunting, and any other activities that involve movement and being outside.
Physical Therapist
After Sarah graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 1999 and has worked in California, North Carolina and Idaho, always preferring a hospital setting with an outpatient clinic for the variety. She has worked in the acute setting at Bingham Memorial Hospital, but has most recently been working in outpatient for nearly 2 years. Sarah enjoys working with all patient populations and diagnoses. She is dry-needling certified and has used this skill to treat neck pain and headaches and IT band pain. When Sarah isn’t hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to a good book, running, and riding her one wheel.
Physical Therapy Assistant
David enjoys working with all age groups and conditions to improve a patient’s quality of life and gets them back to the recreational activities they love. In the clinic, David excels with manual therapy for both joint and soft tissue mobilization in order to improve pain-free mobility. He is bilingual in Spanish which helps him communicate the concerns of patients and help them to feel comfortable in therapy. David grew up in Jerome Idaho and was a former athlete in football and basketball. He has a love working with athletes and is passionate about strength training, specifically with sports. He completed an internship at the College of Southern Idaho with the athletic training team and has participated in various training camps as well. When David is finished up working, you will find him fishing in any lake, river, or ocean! He loves to travel and just got back from Chicago.
Physical Therapist Assistant & Athletic Trainer
Todd has worked in the Orthopedic Field of Sports Medicine for 30+ years, specializing in shoulder and knee rehabilitation, but has recently received training in Cervical Spine treatments, Mirror therapy and a proficiency with IASTM. He has vast knowledge to work with all orthopedic interventions. He began his career as an athletic trainer in 1988 and has had the privilege of working at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (T.O.S.H.) in Murray, Utah, where he worked with the Utah Jazz, Olympic USA Ski Team, USA Women’s Swim Team and the USA Bobsled Team. He was also the Assistant Head Athletic Trainer for the Utah Pioneer USFL football team. He headed the Athletic Training Outreach program in Salt Lake City and Pocatello. He has received advanced training from the National Pitchers Association (N.P.A.) and the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) and specializes in working with overhead athletes with a particular focus on throwing athletes. In 2010, Todd graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Idaho State University and has continued to focus on the athletic and orthopedic patients. He enjoys working with patients and helping them enjoy therapy and return to their prior level of activity. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family (especially grandchildren), traveling, playing golf, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.
Occupational Therapist
Angelica is a licensed occupational therapist who earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. Angelica recently moved to South Eastern Idaho from Portland, Oregon. She enjoys working in outpatient hand therapy and inpatient. She is currently completing a fellowship in hand therapy to further advance her skillset and provide comprehensive care to patients in the Blackfoot area. Angelica is passionate about learning and sharing her expertise with others, including her patients. In her free time, Angelica enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and reading.
Speech Language Therapist
With nearly ten years of experience, MaKenzie specializes in providing services to the adult population, specifically with swallowing therapy. She is trained in neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and is manual therapy certified. She also completed all of the modified barium swallow studies for both acute and outpatients. In addition to her specialty with swallowing, she also enjoys providing language and cognitive therapy to the outpatient clinic for our patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. MaKenzie grew up on a potato farm here in Blackfoot, Idaho. She enjoys doing anything with her family such as camping, jet skiing, and going to the movies.
